Olusegun Obasanjo is a former Nigerian military head of state who 1976 to 1979 and later became president of the federal republic of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007.
Olusegun Obasanjo was born as Olusegun Matthew Okikiola Aremu Obasanjo on 5 March 1937 in Ibogun-Olaogun, Nigeria. His parents were Amos Adigun Obaluayesanjo “Obasanjo” Bankole and his mother was Bernice Ashabi Bankole.
